The Chicago Bears lost their eighth game of the season tonight, which means the best they can do this season is .500. Most likely they will be eliminated from playoff contention by the end of the weekend. This season has been riddled with sub-par performances in every phase of the game. I still hold out hope that Jay Cutler will find his stride and become the quarterback he could be, but I don’t see that happening with the current coaching staff. And the defense… ugh. It’s painful that a team whose reputation is built on their defense can give up fifty points in multiple games.

But hey… the Blackhawks are back. And the Bulls are pretty good this year, or so I’ve heard. I don’t really follow basketball.
