Not as Young as I Used to Be

Not as Young as I Used to Be

Holy crap am I tired right now. I just got home from a rehearsal for A Crew of Patches, in which we reviewed all the fight scenes in Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth. I made the mistake of attempting my Macbeth fights with a Scottish claymore sword, rather than the smaller two-handed longsword I usually use. It was AWESOME, don’t get me wrong, but that sucker is heavy and I’m already feeling the effects.

It doesn’t help that rehearsal started at 8am, and that I didn’t get home from a workshop of Soon I Will Be Invincible until after 12:30 last night. There is a good chance of a nap in my very near future.

However, you remember last week when I was wondering what to write next? Silly me. What I’m writing next is the next draft of SIWBI. We (the composer, director, and I) got a lot of great feedback from our workshop, and I’m ready to dive into the next round. So maybe I’ll work on that a little, and THEN take a nap.
