Have you guys tried Lumosity? I’ve been using for a couple of months now, and I think I’m becoming a fan. I can’t tell if I’ve made any long-term improvements in my cognitive abilities, but I have noticed that I feel a little bit more awake and present on the days that start with a workout. And my scores have showed general improvement since I first started, so there is evidence of progress.
If you haven’t tried it, I think it’s worth checking out, especially if you’ve been feeling sluggish, overtired, or unmotivated. The ten to fifteen minutes it takes to go through one of their workouts is a good as a shot of caffeine, but it lasts longer and there’s no crash when it wears off. In the last couple of weeks I feel like I’ve entered some sort of productivity phase. I’ve been writing more, at least. I’m hoping it starts spreading into other areas as well.
