The thing about building your own website is that you’re never really finished building it. Some of you may notice that once again things look slightly different around here. I believe this is the fourth overhaul in the last year and a half. The biggest change this time is that the blog is now here, on its own page, rather than on the front page. I may come to regret that decision, but for now I’m okay with it.
To be fair, this isn’t really a drastic redesign. I changed the navbar, and added a new font. That’s really about it. But it’s different enough that it feels weird to me. And moving the blog was actually an accident. I was trying to figure out if I could move it, and accidentally deleted some files I shouldn’t have deleted. The back-ups were apparently too out of date, and so I had to basically reinstall the whole thing anyway. So here it is.
You may be asking why I felt the site needed a new look. The answer is: I didn’t. It’s been a stressful week here, and playing with HTML relaxes me. (Except when I screw up and delete files I need.) Without going into to much detail, let me just say it’s been the kind of week that has me Googling “get rich quick schemes.”
